We are pleased to share that STRIDE has been accepted to participate in the GIVEOakville Campaign. The program runs from November 2nd to December 15, 2020.

Designed as a crowd-funding tool, GIVEOakville is an online giving platform that has been provided by our local community foundation, the Oakville Community Foundation, free of charge. STRIDE’s project, Stress Survival Kits for Clients, is one of the selected projects that The Foundation is seeking to help fund.

These kits will be a collection of tools and products to provide clients with quick relief from their stressors. Some of the items we will include in our Stress Survival Kit: Stress Ball, Pen, Ear plugs, Sleep Mask, Fidget Spinner, Chewing gum, Affirmation Card, in addition to various miscellaneous items.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 so that we can distribute 600 Stress Survival Kits for Clients.

As a donor, your gift of $20, $50, $100, $1000 or more can truly help local charities, like us, and therein help our entire community become stronger.  100% of your gift goes directly to the charity. The Foundation covers all credit card fees.

The Foundation is also providing $100,000 in funding from their Resiliency Fund, which will go to compliment your donation. While not a full match, The Foundation will provide additional funding to us, on a pro-rated basis at the close of the campaign.

  2. Enter your donation.
  3. When you’ve made your donation – go to the ‘shopping cart’, to complete the donation process.
  4. A tax receipt will be emailed to you immediately for all donations over $20.
  5. If you want, complete the E-Card option and send it to info@stride.on.ca. That way we’ll know you’ve helped us.
