A Message to Our Community – November 20, 2020

As the Province of Ontario continues to modify their framework which informs organizations and businesses regarding the level of activities and operations they can safely offer during the Covid-19 pandemic, we at STRIDE remain committed to supporting our community and keeping our partners and supporters informed about our services. While we continue to provide virtual and modified services using email, phone, text, and video conferencing, we have also begun a gradual re-opening of our locations to be able to support clients virtually or in-person.

Our approach to working on-site and offering in-person meetings/groups will be based on the directives that have been set for each level by the Provincial Government, those being:  Prevent, Protect, Restrict, Control and Lockdown.

It is understood that during the Covid-19 Pandemic, each Region across the province will determine their current level based on the Region’s number of active Covid-19 cases and positivity rates.  As regions move up and down within the Prevent, Protect, Control and Lockdown system, STRIDE has developed health and safety protocols to determine which activities we can safely offer at any given point in time while minimizing the risk of possible spread or transmission of Covid-19.

The safety of our clients and team members is always our top priority, and we are striving for a balance between in-office/community work and work from home.

Note that STRIDE has adopted a mandatory face mask policy for all persons entering or remaining within STRIDE premises.

Please connect with us or book an appointment by calling or emailing your worker or head office at 905-693-4252.

We will do our best to keep you informed of our updated plans. Please continue to visit our website and social media for up-to-date information about services.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Yours Sincerely,

Anita Lloyd, Executive Director
