STRIDE Receives Accreditation!

On behalf of the Canadian Centre for Accreditation, we are pleased to inform you that the accreditation of STRIDE has been approved for the period of July 20, 2021 to July 19, 2025. Congratulations to our board and staff on our organization's accreditation. The Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA) is a national not-for-profit offering accreditation to community-based health and social service organizations in Canada.

 The CCA review team appreciates the work undertaken by STRIDE to prepare for its review, especially during these turbulent times. The organization is also commended for its achievement of not only all the Mandatory Standards in the Organizational and Community Mental Health and Addiction Services Standards Module, but also all 29 Leading Practice Standards, collectively totaling 297 indicators met.

 Other strengths noted were: the strong, knowledgeable and dedicated Board of Directors; the excellent human resources practices and the solid, committed and resilient staff team; the impressive training opportunities; the unwavering commitment to quality improvement; the excellent strengths-based, trauma-informed, client-centred approach; the meaningful initiatives to reduce discrimination and stigma; the impressive evidence-informed practices; the detailed coordination of service practices; as well as the peer support program.
