November 1stA Message to our Community
Over the past year and a half, Stride Employment Services has taken necessary steps to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of these changes came about as a result of information from public health authorities that have been updated or amended as we have adapted to the pandemic. We are fortunate to begin to remove some of these restrictions as COVID-19 case counts drop and percentage of those vaccinated increases. Stride has continued to move forward with a cautious re-opening plan and we will continue to follow strict health and safety measures to ensure we protect the health and safety of clients, staff and visitors.
Stride has adopted a hybrid model of in-person and virtual services. We continue to provide services using email, phone, text, and video conferencing. In addition, we will also hold In-person services with individuals based on the client's needs and preference, appropriate to the program and type of service. Our workshops continue to be offered virtually at this time.
Provincial Proof of Vaccination regulations are now in effect. Stride has implemented a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees, students, volunteers and contractors. This COVID-19 vaccination policy forms part of Stride’s overall strategy to promoting a safe and healthy workplace in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As well, please note that Stride has adopted a mandatory face mask policy for all persons entering or remaining within Stride premises.
Please connect with us or book an appointment by calling or emailing your worker or head office at 905-693-4252.
Please continue to visit our website and social media for up-to-date information about services.
Stride continues to monitor restrictions and the province-wide situation closely. As COVID-19 case counts and vaccination rates improve, we hope to be able to ease some of the restrictions. Adhering to Public Health directives remains essential to maintaining and building-upon on the success we have all worked so hard to achieve. We will keep you informed as the situation unfolds. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Yours Sincerely,
Anita Lloyd,
Executive Director, STRIDE
