March 1stA Message to our Community
Over the past two years, Stride Employment Services has taken necessary steps to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Last month, Ontario released its plan to follow a cautious and phased approach to lifting public health and workplace safety measures if health indicators continued to remain stable and improve. Positivity rates have fallen and new admissions to hospital and ICU have been declining week over week. Over the coming days and weeks, these trends are expected to continue, allowing the province to safely accelerate its timelines. With key public health and health system indicators improving, the government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, is cautiously and gradually easing public health measures.
Accordingly, Stride will now offer in person meetings with clients/employers at the request of the client/employer or as necessary. Stride will continue to follow all COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Stride continues to provide services using email, phone, text, and video conferencing. Our workshops will also continue to be offered virtually at this time until further notice.
Stride has implemented a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees, students, volunteers and contractors. This COVID-19 vaccination policy forms part of Stride’s overall strategy to promoting a safe and healthy workplace in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please note that Stride has adopted a mandatory face mask policy for all persons entering or remaining within Stride premises. In addition, all staff, clients and visitors are requested to complete the screening assessment through Colib before entering the office or attending a meeting at Stride locations.

Stride continues to monitor restrictions and the province-wide situation closely. We will keep you informed as the situation unfolds. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Yours Sincerely,
Anita Lloyd,
