Join us for our Peer Workshop: Accepting Acceptance
Like a hand that instinctively recoils from touching a hot stove, you may naturally find yourself trying to recoil from certain thoughts and emotions. However, thoughts and emotions aren’t a hot stove and attempts to avoid them can have negative impacts in the long run. Acceptance is the opposite of avoidance. This workshop provides participants with an overview on what acceptance means and how acceptance can help facilitate wellness. Participants are invited to learn about some tools that can help them with applying the practice of acceptance to their daily lives.
